Midweek
Pretty amazing week so far.
Had a trek with odac last Thursday - good to go back to Bukit Timah, especially the places where I had research with na and ca. Good memories.
Then Special Olympics Bocce competition at Yishun ITE. Everytime I attend Special O meetings, I feel very priviledged to be able to do a little for the event. Took about 280 shots. Had an interesting encounter, but its sounds too much like a movie script. So shall just leave it as that heh.
Weekend was spent trying to grow new skin back to replace those killed during Special Os and a frantic search for insect keys for Nature Learning Camp.
Monday - meeting with thesis supervisor. Need to submit by 17 May. How am I going to do that, well shall think after this week.
Tuesday, went to set up the insect traps for Nature Learning camp. Was downloading and preparing maps and also printing handouts.
Wednesday, ran down despite the torrential rain to Upper Seletar. Had a good time collecting insects and interacting with the various students. Of course it is very good to see old students like jh coming back to contribute.
Woke up today feeling as if a truck ran over me several times. It is amazing to feel where all your joints are each time you turn and move. I am getting old.
Off for training trek for Mt Rinjani at Bukit Timah later.
Life is good. :)
