On the back of a postcard

Reeling and giddy from Fragile Things I shall write
of how i forgot my adapter and collected my
thesis at Queensway and headed back school
for my adapter and walked
down Anderson where I saw four dracos and
wandered into Lido, bought a ticket for the Banquet
at 315 and sat down on a bench and finished
a burger until I had to find
a piece of postcard in my bag and write these down
word for word,
moving on to the next line when my pen reached the
edge of the card, scribbling down the rush of words
pouring out of my head
